Škoda has revealed some sketchy (literally) details of its new electric SUV – the Enyaq iV. The car is based on the same mechanicals as the Volkswagen iD3 and iD4, as well as the Cupra elBorn.

Škoda’s designers say the Enyaq iV “features sculptural lines, clear surfaces and crystalline elements that draw inspiration from Bohemian crystal art”.

Skoda Enyaq iv New SUV is inspired by Bohemian crystal art, apparently.

Proper pictures of the Škoda (that is photos and full specifications rather than crayon sketches) will be revealed on 1st September. The car is expected to go on sale in early 2021, with three different battery options and two or four wheel drive. The largest will give it a range of 310 miles.

Expect it to be keenly priced compared to it’s VW Group brethren too, starting at around £30,000.
